Science Experiments

Our class has been performing a small science experiment for the past couple of weeks. We put some bread, orange peel and tomato in a jar, and observed it every day for 10 days to see what had happened. It wasn't pretty! The jars were filled with mold by the end of the experiment.

Some pictures of the students observing the changes in their jars:

August PBIS Party

On the last day of every month, Lewis School has a positive behavior party for students who are detention-free during that month. In August, we had a water balloon party, and the kids had a blast. The rotated through three stations: water balloon toss, relay races, and water balloon baseball. When we were done, we got to enjoy snow cones. It was a great treat for those who made positive choices in the month of August.

Welcome!

Welcome parents and students! I'm looking forward to a wonderful year. I plan to use this blog to showcase the work and activities of the students in my class. You will see classroom news and events, pictures, essays, projects, poems and more on this blog. I hope to update weekly, if not more often. Please check back frequently to find out what's going on in my class.
